We serve brunch all day. Menu available all day too — food until half an hour before closing.
The café runs on 100% renewable power. We recycle, re-use and buy second hand wherever we can.
No table bookings — but we take groups of up to 10, and you can hire the whole place out.
Not locally sourced via China — but grown, caught or made locally. Did you know you can buy frozen pre-cooked bacon? What's the point.
We use nice organic bread, handmade sausages, good bacon, fair-trade organic coffee, local cheese and cider, free range chicken and eggs, fresh fish. All our bread is baked in Bath and we use local independent butchers.
Our chips are hand cut from Maris Pipers and we leave the skins on — cos it tastes better and it's healthier for you.
Everything is made from scratch by our team of wild chefs and an army of smurfs in the basement. Cakes, dressings, mayo, pies, hollandaise — all ours.

Our guest house is right next door to the café. All the beds are super comfy, and you couldn't find a better location for exploring the city.
Three double rooms and one triple, each unique with a style of its own. Groups and families can book a couple of rooms — or the whole place.
